PHILADELPHIA, February 23, 2011--Philadelphia-based subscriber retention and data integration company Marketing G2 (MG2) announces a contract with Hearst Newspapers to develop, design, and implement a customer engagement and subscriber services portal. Hearst's 15 daily newspapers will integrate MG2's Subscriber Concierge product in to their websites to enable customers to manage all aspects of their subscription, while allowing newspapers to target promotions and communications based on customer variables.

It's also a platform designed to support the service needs of the expanding landscape of content platforms. As newspapers delivery content to mobile, tablets and other digital platforms, Subscriber Concierge can handle authentication services, offer management and support needs.
The target date for Hearst to launch Subscriber Concierge modules across its newspaper properties is May 2011. Recently, The Seattle Times also went live with a customer service portal running on Subscriber Concierge, which can be found at myseattletimes.com. Executives at the Times have praised the technical knowledge and direct marketing expertise behind MG2 that allowed the Times to take full advantage of email communications and the Internet to build stronger relationships with customers.
